In 2022, weeks before Olivia's death, a case worker from our hospice group asked if she could connect us with the non-profit Project 4031.
To say those last fews weeks were hard would be an understatement.
Keith and I were mentally, physical, and financially exhausted.
Keith had also undergone surgery for a torn-rotator cuff, so the 'overtime' pay we'd grown to rely on had dried up.
In our stead, Project 4031 paid our mortgage in the last month of Olivia's life so we could spend those final days being present with her, instead of worrying on how we'd be able to afford the accumulation of medical bills.
Two months ago, we were invited by Project 4031 to speak on the immense impact to which a single act of love can create. We are honored to share this video with you on this platform.
